Nomination Guidelines.

Celebrating Excellence in Logistics, Supply Chain & Trade

The Smart Logistics Summit & Awards 2026 – Rajkot & Morbi Gujarat aims to recognise and celebrate organisations and professionals that are driving excellence, innovation, efficiency and sustainability across India's logistics and supply chain ecosystem.

The Awards will honour organisations that have demonstrated measurable achievements, operational excellence, technology adoption, innovation, sustainability and contribution to the logistics industry during the assessment period.

Who can participate?

The Awards are open to organisations operating across the logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehousing, ports, terminals, shipping, freight forwarding, multimodal transportation and allied sectors. Eligible participants may include:

Logistics service providers
Freight forwarders / Custom House Agents
Shipping companies and agents
Ports and terminals — Mundra / Kandla / KICT
Container Freight Stations (CFSs) and Inland Container Depots (ICDs)
Warehousing and distribution companies
Road transportation companies
Rail logistics operators
Coastal shipping operators
Supply chain solution providers
Technology and digital logistics companies
Manufacturers and exporters / importers with outstanding logistics practices
Industrial parks and logistics parks

Nomination categories

Companies may nominate themselves or may be nominated by industry stakeholders under the relevant Award category. Each organisation should select the category that best represents its achievements during the assessment period.

Assessment period

Unless otherwise specified for a particular category, nominations should primarily highlight achievements made during 1 April 2025 – 30 Aug 2026.

Companies may also provide relevant developments from the subsequent period where they demonstrate the continuation or impact of an initiative.

How to submit a nomination

Please provide actual figures for FY 2025–26, along with FY 2024–25 figures wherever applicable, to demonstrate measurable performance and improvement.

Confidential information should not be submitted unless the company is comfortable sharing it with the Awards organisers / jury.

Nomination dos & don'ts

Do

  • Provide accurate and verifiable information
  • Use measurable data wherever possible
  • Provide year-on-year comparisons
  • Highlight specific projects and initiatives
  • Include supporting evidence
  • Clearly explain the impact of the initiative
  • Keep the submission concise and focused

Don't

  • Submit generic company information without achievements
  • Make unsupported claims
  • Submit irrelevant documents
  • Provide excessive promotional content
  • Duplicate the same nomination across unrelated categories
  • Include confidential information that cannot be shared with the jury

Nomination review process

The nomination process will broadly follow these stages:

Nomination Submission → Initial Screening → Eligibility & Documentation Check → Shortlisting → Final Evaluation → Winner Selection → Awards Ceremony — Rajkot, Gujarat

The organisers may seek additional information or clarification from nominees during the evaluation process.

Confidentiality

Information submitted as part of the nomination will be used primarily for the purpose of evaluating the nomination.

Nominees should clearly identify any information that is commercially sensitive or confidential.

The organisers may use non-confidential information, photographs, company names and approved achievement highlights for Award-related communications, publications, websites and promotional material.

Important guidelines

  • One company may submit nominations in more than one category, provided it has distinct achievements relevant to each category.
  • Each nomination should focus on a specific achievement, initiative, project or performance area.
  • Incomplete nominations may not be considered for evaluation.
  • The organisers reserve the right to request additional information or supporting documents.
  • The organisers reserve the right to move a nomination to a more appropriate category, subject to consultation with the nominee.
  • The organisers reserve the right to withdraw or reject a nomination if the information provided is found to be inaccurate or misleading.
  • The organisers reserve the right to modify Award categories where necessary.

Nominations received after the deadline may not be considered. Companies are encouraged to submit their nominations well in advance to allow sufficient time for verification and evaluation.
